Cusco - Mollepata - Soraypampa - Humantay Lake - Cusco expand_more
Early morning, pick-up from hotel between 4:30 am to 5.00 am.
Then board the tour bus for an approximately 2-hour ride to Mollepata (2900masl), located at the North of the Cusco region.
Upon arrival, have a delicious breakfast.
Later, continue on the bus for 1 hour to Soraypampa (3900masl) to prepare for the trek.
Then, start the hike to Humanatay Lake (4200masl), ascending 300 meters uphill. (1 hour approx.)
Here, enjoy the Humantay Glacier's view (5450masl), located in the Vilcabamba range in the Andes.
Later, return to Soraypampa to explore the area.
Walk to see the Salkantay trail and Salkantay Mountain (6251masl), the second-highest mountain in the Cusco region.
Later, have a buffet lunch.
Return to Cusco at 5.00 pm approximately.
