Day 1: Amazon Lodge expand_more
Get picked up by your Amazonian tour guide from the hotel or the airport.
Drive for 1.5 hours to Nauta city.
Travel for another 2 hours by boat to reach the Amazon Lodge from the city.
Navigate the Marañon River to the Amazon and Rio Ucayali, where the lodge is located, in a protected area along the Yanayacu River.
Have a meal and then start your first excursion by boat.
Track and observe the river dolphins.
After dinner, go for a night walk in the rainforest.
Search for night wildlife like snakes, frogs, spiders and much more.

Day 2: Learn Jungle Survival Skills expand_more
Start your day early, around 6 a.m.
Enjoy the sunrise and look for colourful birds and monkeys.
Head back to the lodge and enjoy breakfast.
Enjoy your second excursion, which will be a jungle trek.
Walk in the primary forest and have the chance to spot wildlife, and your Amazonian tour guide will share his knowledge of the wide variety of medical plants.
Learn basic survival skills in the jungle, like finding food and water.
In the afternoon, travel by boat to the Yanayacu River and search for sloths, macaws, different types of monkeys, etc. Pass by two beautiful lakes.
At night, have a boat excursion to search for caimans as they are active during the night.

Day 3: Catch Piranhas for Lunch expand_more
After breakfast, travel to a beautiful lake area, where you can find the famous giant water lilies.
Fish for piranhas, the most dangerous fish in the amazon river, and if you are lucky to catch one, you can have it prepared for your lunch.
After lunch, take the boat. Later, a means of transport will take you back to the airport or your hotel in Iquitos.
