    • Get picked up from your hotel in Cusco between 3:30 to 4:00 a.m by your Peruvian tour guide.
    • Travel to Mollepata located in the lush valley of the Apurimac River, which is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes away from Cusco. 
    • In Mollepata, stop for a quick breakfast to get some energy before the hike! 
    • Continue the journey towards Soraypampa.
    • Begin the trek to Laguna Humantay located at 4200 m (13779 feet). The hike up will take around 1 hour and 30 min and is a fairly steep hike up. 
    • Learn about why this site was considered sacred for the Incas and take time to appreciate the breathtaking views.
    • Return to Mollepata and have local cuisine for lunch.
    • Get back to Cusco and enjoy a much-needed siesta!
