Embark on an exhilarating five-day trek in the Huayhuash mountains. Be mesmerised by Ninashanca Mountain and appreciate panoramic views of the beautiful green lake of Solterococha. Camp under starry skies, fish at Lake Rasac, and experience the Peruvian mountains like never before!

  • Day 1: Arrival & Acclimatisation expand_more
    • Meet your tour guide at a pre-decided location.

    • This day is reserved for acclimatisation. Your guide will help you get used to the high altitudes of Huaraz before you set out on your trek.

  • Day 2: Trek to Llamac & Rondoy expand_more
    • Pack your bags and set out from Huaraz to Llamac at 9:00 AM. 

    • Begin driving southwards and cross the Conococha Pass.

    • Make your way to the southernmost peaks of the Cordillera Blanca. This range of the Huayhuash is a single cluster of seven of the highest and most dramatic summits in Peru. 

    • Descent to the small town of Llamac and travel through Pocpa valley. You will see Pocpa, a small town located 3600m above sea level.  

    • Arrive at Pallca at 2:00 PM.

    • Continue for half an hour to your campsite at Rondoy, located 4000m above sea level. 

    • On the way, be mesmerised by the Ninashanca Mountain. 

    Overnight camp at Rondoy. 

  • Day 3: Sambunya Pass & Jahuaccha Trek expand_more
    • Start your day with breakfast at the campsite.

    • Begin your hike up to Sambunya pass.

    • Halt at the beautiful mountains for a quick photo session.

    • Appreciate the panoramic views of the beautiful green lake of Soltero Cocha as you descend down.

    • Trek to Jahuacocha, your campsite for the night, located 4200m above sea level.

    • Arrive at the campsite for dinner and rest for the night.

  • Day 4: Rest Day at Rasac Lake expand_more
    • Enjoy your breakfast at the campsite.

    • You may go fishing or hike around Lake Rasac.  

    • Visit the beautiful Solterococha. 

    • Get back to the campsite in the afternoon, and spend the rest of the day in leisure.

    Dinner and overnight at Jahacocha Camp Place.

  • Day 5: Departure via Pampallamac, Llamac & Chiquian expand_more
    • Begin your day with breakfast at the campsite. 
    • Go on an easy trek to the Pampallamac, where you will catch your last glimpse of the Huayhuash Mountains.
    • Have lunch and rest for a while. 

    • Leave for Llamac town driving down along the Llamac river until Timpoc, where you will see where the Llamac river and the Pavillon river join.

    • Continue to Chiquian along the Ainin river.

    • Explore Chiquian.

    • Drive for 3 hours to your hotel in Huaraz.

  • When you make a payment, 5% of the total price will be donated to buy goods for a person or village that require support. Those in need receive the benefits of this program after careful investigation with help from governors and priests. 

  • The donations will be made in front of the contributor to ensure complete transparency of the process.
