  • Day 1: Acclimatizing Full Day Support Community Full Day Tour expand_more
    • Make the most of this day reserved for acclimatization. During this, you can give some donations to the nearby villages. 

    • Do multiple stops to visit lakes, some points of view natural tourist places, or local artisans or observe local traditions and culture. Arriving at the right person or community. The Huaraz tour guides will donate the presence of contributors to witness the real benefits instead of making deposits in black bank accounts.

    • At a proper time, return to Huaraz Hotel.

    • Arrive at 7 pm, from any place.

  • Day 2: Lima – Huaura – Churin expand_more
    • Be escorted from your hotel in Lima around 7 am and drive north in a private vehicle for 2 hours and a half 147km to Huaura along the Pan American highway. 

    • Ride east alongside huge fields of sugar cane plantation along the Rio Huaura pass Sayan village and intern into the valley of Churin, from Huara to Churin takes about two hours 105km,

    • Ride carefully as the circuit here is replete with many serpentining trail. 

    • Arrive in Churin around 12 noon, at the hotel, accommodation and lunch and free afternoon in Churin to enjoy the hot springs. its natural fountains contain Azufre, Magnesio, Cloruroy Sulfatoexcellent for somebody looking to heal lungs and respiratory sicknesses.

  • Day 3: Churin – Oyon – Surasaca – Viconga expand_more
    • After breakfast at your hotel, get aboard the private vehicle and start driving-up along the Rio de Oyon by a narrow valley and rocky mountains. 

    • Arrive at the Oyon province and appreciate the nice landscapes. Halt here for coffee or any other hot beverage of your choice. Oyon is at 3400 masl.

    • Drive ahead to Laguna Suarasaca, a few meters up arrive at Laguna Surasaca where the donkey drivers and donkeys are waiting to upload our expeditions logistics, a

    • Arrive in Surasaca at 10 am, then start hiking along the Laguna Surasaca the first mountain views of Leon Huacana, Siete Caballeros group of mountains that belongs Nevado Raura. 

    • Feast on your lunch facing the wonderful mountains, then continue hiking down to Viconga Hotsprings campsite at 4200, d

    Dinner and overnight at your camp.

  • Day 4: Viconga – Cuyoc Pass – Santa Rosa expand_more
    • Reach the highest point of your trek after coursing through a moderate circuit, en-route treat your senses with the awe-inspiring views of Cuyoc Mountains (3 hr).

    • Continue down the Guanacpatay valley to have lunch, going down from the pass is very dust and rocky after it.

    • Ultimately reach the beautiful grasslands to walk; take a breather here and have your lunch.

    • Proceed towards your campsite at the peaceful Valley of Guanacpatay at 4150 masl.

  • Santa Rosa – Cutatambo – Huayllapa expand_more
    • After a typical breakfast, start climbing to Santa Rosa Pass 5200 masl. (2 hr) 

    • Enjoy the beautiful views of the Siula Mountains, the historical area for cinemasters, as the film 'Touching the Void' was made in the Siula Mountain. 

    • Hike along the valley down to Huayllapa small isolated peasant village lies at 3490 masl, here the small Andean shops will provide soda drinks, bears, and first house necessities.

    • Arrive around 6 PM for dinner, explore the village and shop for things which please you. 

    • Have dinner at the village.

    Estimated time: 7-8 hrs of trekking

  • Day 6: Huayllapa – Cashpapampa expand_more
    • Hike up for about 5 hours to go to the Tapush pass 4800 masl. 

    • Walk down the easy trail for about two hours, arrive at the camp place by late afternoon, o

    Distance covered: 7.5 mi (12 km)

    Estimated time: 5-6 hours of trekking

    Accomodation: Camp at 14,578 ft (4417 m)

  • Day 7: Cashpapampa – Jahuacocha expand_more
    • After breakfast, start trekking the moderate route to the Yaucha Pass (4800 masl). Stay in the pass for a couple of hours. 

    • After rest, continue going down along the Huacrish ravine for approx three or four hours, and suddenly you will be surprised by a beautiful panoramic landscape. The Jahuacocha lake in the base of the mountains Jirishanca, Yerupaja, and Rondoy, a beautiful green colour lake that lies at 4066 masl camp place. 

    • Enjoy the spectacular avalanches coming down from the base of the mountains Jirishanca. 

    • Next, head to your camp. 

    • Find a typical Mountain hut for sheepherders. 

    Overnight in Jahuacocha at 4050 masl

  • Day 8: Jahuacocha – Cuartelhuain expand_more
    • Start hiking up along Lake Jauacocha up till Solterococha. (1 hr 30 min). 

    • Proceed to the Sambunya pass and appreciate the nicest views of the mountains and the lakes (3 hours; elevation: 4800 masl).

    • Soak in the wonderful views of the mountains. In case its windy, immediately start going-down along the Rondoy small valley. 

    • Hike for about 3 hours and get the Camp Site of Cuartelhuain. 

    Dinner and overnight at 4200 masl. 

  • Day 9: Cuartelhuain – Mitucocha expand_more
    • After breakfast, ready our things and at 8 am start your trek. This hike is going to be a bit difficult because climbing to the pass will take you about 2 or 3 hours. 

    • From the pass, go down and then go-up for approx 30 minutes.

    • Have lunch after the small climb. 

    • Talke the alternative trail to get early to the campsite and prevent taking the same route the next day. On this route, appreciate the Andean rabbits called Vizcachas. 

    • Arrive at the campsite early and then go fishing around the lake while your cook prepares the dinner.

  • Day 10: Mitucocha – Carhuacocha expand_more
    • After breakfast, start trekking at 8 am. 

    • Reach the pass after a 3-hour hike where you will have lunch. Enjoy the view of white peaked mountains such as Yerupaja, Jirishanca, and Siula.

    • Get to the campsite around 3 or 4 pm. You will be surprised by a beautiful lake, keeping the mountain’s silhouettes green coloured.

    • Set up camp at a special place facing the lake.

  • Day 11: Carhuacocha – Huyahuash expand_more
    • At 8 am after breakfast, start your trek. 

    • Be amazed by the three different colour lakes of Siula Lake. 

    • Get to the Siula Pass at 4850 masl, and have lunch next to the Carnicero lakes. 

    • Hike down to your camping place, 4350 masl.

  • Day 12: Huayhuash – Viconga expand_more
    • After breakfast, trek to the Portachuelo de Huayhuash Pass.

    • Proceed down to your campsite at Viconga to have lunch.

    • Stroll to the hot springs which are a 20-minute walk down from the camp place. 

    6.8 miles (11 km)

    5-6 hrs of trekking.

    Camp at 14,480 ft (4390m).

  • Day 13: Viconga – Surasaca – Churin expand_more
    • Rise up early and start hiking up to Portachueo Viconga, passing closer to the lake of Viconga, in two hours walking we get the pass of Portachuelo at 4500 masl. 

    • Continue to walk down for one hour and arrive at lake Surasaca, then walk along the Lake for another two hours more arriving at the bottom of the lake around 12 in the day. 

    • Take your private minibus and drive through the most scenic route. 

    • Pass by the Lake Rumbrococha, ride through the village of Quiches, Cashaucro 3500 masl. 

    • Arrive at Oyon for a short break, take pictures, visit the Plaza de Armas and continue down the valley to Churin district full of hot springs.

    • Sit down for lunch in a restaurant. 

    Stay overnight at your hotel.

  • Day 14: Churin – Lima expand_more
    • Begin your morning with a hearty breakfast and soak in the hot springs to relax all the cramped up muscles for the last time. 

    • Depart from Churin at 9 am. 

    • Drive-by narrow valley under rocky walls and a huge area of sugar cane farming fields, en-route local vendors offer to tourists fruits from the farm,

    • Ride through the village of Sayan lot of vendors of fruit will offer you fresh fruit along the way. 

    • Arrive in Huacho around 1 pm for lunch at a recommended restaurant on the Pan American highway to Lima. 

    • Drive directly to Lima and reach by 6 PM. 

    • Transfer to your hotel or the airport or bus station.
