We will take you through the gorgeous city of Muscat, where we will first visit the grand mosque, which, among a couple of others, is one of the most enormous 1-piece handmade Iranian carpets in the world. The carpet weighs a whopping 21 tons and can comfortably accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers.

We will drive you around the ministries and the Royal Opera House area, a leading art and culture organization in the Sultanate of Oman. • Stop At: Bait Al Zubair, Al-Saidiya Street, Muscat 113 Oman. Bait Al Zubair is a museum on Al Saidiya Street, Old Muscat, Oman. The museum has an extensive collection of ancient weapons, including khanjar, household equipment, and costumes. Outside the museum is a full-scale Omani village and souk.

• Stop At: Qurum Beach, Al Shati Street, Muscat 113 Oman. This beach lies in the Al Qurm Area in the heart of Muscat and extends over a large area. This beach is considered one of the busiest in Muscat due to its location near shopping centres and restaurants, but it will be a photo stop only.

• Stop At: Mutrah Souq, Al Bahri Rd Near Corniche Restaurant, 113 Oman. Muttrah Souk is next, where you can find various souvenirs. Muttrah Souk is one of the oldest marketplaces in Oman, dating back two hundred years.

• Stop At: Al Alam Palace, Waterfront Oman: The Al Alam Palace, "Palace of the Flag", is a palace located in Old Muscat, Oman. Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said used it as a ceremonial palace. One of six sultanic residences of the monarch has a history of over 200 years and was built under the watch of Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, the 7th direct grandfather of Sultan Qaboos.

• Pass By: Al Jalali Fort, Oman. Al Jalali Fort, or Ash Sharqiya Fort, is a fort in the harbour of Old Muscat, Oman. The Portuguese built the fort under Philip I of Portugal in the 1580s to protect the harbour after Ottoman forces had twice sacked Muscat. It fell to Omani forces in 1650. During the civil wars between 1718 and 1747, the fort was twice captured by Persians who had been invited to assist one of the rival Imams. The fort was extensively rebuilt later.
