Embark on an epic adventure with our 14-Day Everest Base Camp Trek. After arriving in Kathmandu, take an early morning flight to Lukla to begin your trek. Pass through forests of rhododendron and magnolia, along the Dudh Koshi River, and explore the Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar. Rest and acclimatize in Tengboche and Dingboche, then continue on to Gorak Shep for a hike to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar for stunning panoramic views.

Day 1: Kathmandu expand_more
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you'll be met by a representative from your trekking agency who will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Lukla expand_more
- After an early morning flight to Lukla, you'll start your trek to Phakding, a village in the Khumbu region. The trek takes around 3 hours.

Day 3: Sherpa expand_more
- Today's trek takes you through forests of rhododendron and magnolia and along the Dudh Koshi River. You'll reach the Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar in the afternoon, where you'll spend the night.

Day 4: Rest Day expand_more
Today is a rest day to help your body acclimatize to the altitude. You can explore the town of Namche Bazaar and visit the local market.

Day 5: Tengboche expand_more
- The trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche takes around 5-6 hours. You'll visit the Tengboche Monastery, one of the most important Buddhist monasteries in the Khumbu region.

Day 6: Dingboche expand_more
- Today's trek takes you through forests of birch, conifers, and rhododendrons along the Imja River. You'll reach the village of Dingboche in the afternoon.

Day 7: Rest Day expand_more
- Another rest day to acclimatize to the altitude. You can take a short hike up to Nagarjun Hill for great views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 8: Lobuche expand_more
- The trek from Dingboche to Lobuche takes around 5-6 hours. You'll pass through the village of Duglha and the Khumbu Glacier before reaching Lobuche.

Day 9: Gorak Shep expand_more
- Today's trek takes you to Gorak Shep, a small village near Everest Base Camp. After lunch, you'll hike to Everest Base Camp and return to Gorak Shep for the night.

Day 10: Kala Patthar expand_more
- Today's hike takes you to Kala Patthar, a viewpoint from which you can get panoramic views of Mount Everest and other surrounding peaks. Afterwards, you'll trek back down to Pheriche.

Day 11: Namche Bazaar expand_more
- The trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar takes around 6-7 hours. You'll pass through the villages of Pangboche and Tengboche before reaching Namche Bazaar.

Day 12: Lukla expand_more
- Today's trek takes you back to Lukla, where you'll spend the night before your flight back to Kathmandu the following morning.

Day 13: Kathmandu expand_more
- After breakfast, you'll take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu, where you'll have the rest of the day to explore the city.

Day 14: Airport Transfer expand_more
- Your 14-day trek to Everest Base Camp comes to an end today. You'll be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.

- Nepal Entry Visa Fees for multiple entries on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport- (15 days - $25-30, 30 days- $40-50, and 90 days- $100-110)
- Excess baggage charges (Limit is 9 kg per person) on the trek
- All accommodations and meals in Kathmandu, before and after the journey
- Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu due to early arrival, late departure, or early return from the trek.
- Personal expenses (shopping, snacks, boiled bottled water, hot (Tea/ Coffee) and cold drinks, hot shower, alcohol, Wi-Fi, telephone call, battery re-charge fee, extra porters, etc
- Personal clothing and gear

Know before you go
- Insurance- travel insurance is more of a mandatory thing to do before travelling anywhere. Do not forget to mention the maximum altitude you will reach because insurance varies and depends upon the height or elevation. You can always get more ideas about travel insurance from travel agencies or insurance companies themselves. You can also get one from any travel agency.
- Visa and passports- for all foreigners besides Indians, you will need a valid visa and valid passport to visit anywhere in Nepal. You can have your Nepalese visa at Tribhuwan international airport in Kathmandu. You will also need two passport-sized photographs for trekking permits.
