• Guests will be collected from their lodgings in Windhoek around 12h00. 
• Your journey to the Namib Desert begins via the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass (one of Namibia's steepest and most scenic of its kind). A refreshment stop at the small settlement of Solitaire follows, famous for its "Apple Pie", before heading to the lodge. 
• The authentic desert atmosphere en route is considered just one of the many highlights this short trip offers.

Accommodation: Namib Desert Lodge or Similar

• An early morning departure is essential. The opportunity to climb some of the highest dunes in the world nears. The view from the highest dune, "Big Daddy", as it's known to the locals, is well worth the early morning wake-up. Ancient Camelthorn Trees sits at Big Daddy's and Dead Vlei's foot, one of Sossusvlei's most photographed areas.
• Continue your tour to Dune 45 (known as the most photographed dune globally).
• From there, drive to explore the rugged Sesriem Canyon before returning to the Lodge. 
• The day ends with a spectacular Namib sunset.

• After breakfast, it's time to pack your bags before we say goodbye to the Namib Desert. 
• On your way back, you'll return via "Remhoogte Pass", an alternative but just as a scenic route. 
• Windhoek's arrival time is expected to be around 12h30, leaving you enough time to grab a bite for lunch, do some last-minute shopping, prepare yourself for your next adventure, or simply return home with fond memories of Namibia.
