  • Day 1: Arrival at the Airport - Sumidero Canyon expand_more
    • You will be picked up from Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport before 10:00 am.
    • Start your adventure towards the majestic Sumidero Canyon. Here, you can enjoy a boat ride on the amazing Grijalva River, where you can observe its magnificent flora, including ceibas, mulattoes and fauna including spider monkeys, crocodiles, herons, surrounded by its imposing walls, which are more than 1100 meters high.
  • Day 2: Visit Chiapa de Corzo expand_more
    • Visit the historical town of Chiapa de Corzo, the first colonial city founded by Diego de Mazariegos, where you can see the Temple of Santo Domingo, its colonial fountain and the handicraft walker. 
    • Transfer to San Cristóbal de Las Casas, located in the state of Chiapas, home to a population of 186,000 people, and indigenous people living here contribute highly towards folk art and crafts.
  • Day 3: Agua Azul - Misol Ha- Palenque expand_more
    • Meet in the lobby at 4:00 a.m after and have breakfast on the way to the Agua Azul Waterfalls.
    • On arrival, visit the beautiful Agua Azul Waterfalls with a tour of the beautiful mountains of Chiapas, offering spectacular landscapes. Observe the turquoise blue waters in a series of pools and the scenery of the waterfalls within the jungle setting. You can also go swimming in the pools. 
    • Continue your journey towards the 30-metre high Misol Ha Waterfalls, surrounded by the extensive vegetation of this region.
    • Later, visit the archaeological site of Palenque, where you can spend time in the city and see the most splendid temples of the Mayan culture, such as the Temple of the Red Queen, Temple of the Cross, the observatory and the Temple of the Inscriptions. Here, you can explore the tomb of King Pakal, one of the most important rulers of the Mayan culture.
    • Transfer to the hotel in Palenque and stay the night.
  • Day 4: Yaxchilan - Bonampak - Palenque expand_more
    • Meet at the lobby at 6:00 am and start your journey towards the Archaeological Zone of Yaxchilán, located in the middle of the jungle, one of the most important centres during the Mayan classic. With an en-route breakfast.
    • Later, we will move to the Archaeological Zone of Bonampak, where you can witness an emblematic room where paintings immortalized part of their history. You can see floor-to-ceiling murals which document several events held in 790-792.
    • Return to your hotel in Palenque and stay the night.
  • Day 5: Transfer to San Cristóbal de Las Casas expand_more
    • Have breakfast at the hotel in the morning. Then transfer to San Cristóbal de Las Casas.
  • Day 6: El Chiflon & Lagunas de Montebello National Park expand_more
    • Have breakfast at the hotel and meet in the hotel lobby at 7:30 am.
    • Move to the ecotourism centre, El Chiflón, and take a walk to see its three famous waterfalls - El Suspiro, Alas de Ángel and Veil de Novia, among the extensive vegetation here.
    • You can carry out some interesting activities such as zip-lining (Price not included).
    • Continue your journey towards the Lagunas de Montebello National Park, where you will be able to access 12 of its 59 lakes, characterized by the varied tones that they offer us. Among them, you can also visit the International Lake, which is one of the borders with Guatemala. 
    • Return to the hotel in San Cristóbal de Las Casas.
  • Day 7: Zinacantan - Chamula - Departure expand_more
    • Have breakfast at the hotel and meet in the hotel lobby at 9:00 am.
    • Start the day with a visit to the Mayan-Tzotzil villages of the highlands of Chiapas. Visit the indigenous community of Zinacantán, "place of bats", where you will go to the church of San Sebastián.
    • Later, visit an indigenous family to teach you the elaboration of their beautiful textiles, looms recognized for their unique beauty and colour made by artisan women. You will also have the opportunity to try their famous Pox drink (brandy made from corn).
    • Continue your journey to the community of San Juan Chamula, a place where you will observe the fusion between the Catholic Church and pre-Hispanic (Mayan) traditions. Visit the San Juan Bautista Church, where you can observe its unique rites and traditions in this region.
    • Transfer to the Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport for departure.
