Day 1: Yangon to Kyaiktiyo expand_more
Arrive in Yangon, and then drive to Kyaiktiyo, the basic foothill camp of Kyaiktiyo mountain range.
Then climb up to Yathetaung, a sub-camp, by light truck.
Continue climbing from Yathetaung to the hilltop by foot (about 2 km far and 1-hour walk-up).
Visit Kyaik Hti Yoe (Golden Rock) Pagoda. When you reach there, you will see that the Golden Rock like it's about to fall down. If you stare at Golden Rock closely, it may appear to be moving. Only men can go up to the Golden Rock itself. If you touch and lift the Golden Rock, you will feel like it is going to collapse on you. If you put bamboo strips under the gap of Golden Rock, it might curve and sometimes stay straight.

After that, go back to your hotel and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Kyaiktiyo to Bago to Yangon expand_more
After breakfast, start short trekking to the pagoda to see the sunrise and small hills in the vicinity.
Then go back to your hotel, climb down to Yathetaung sub-base camp on foot. From Yathetaung to Kinpun base camp at the foothill, travel by light truck.
Drive to Bago and visit Kyaik Pun Pagoda, Shwethalyaung Buddha and Mahazedi Pagoda, Kanbawzathadi Palace, and Shwemawdaw Pagoda.
And then drive back to Yangon. On the way to Yangon, visit Taukkyan War Cemetery.
Arrive at Yangon in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Yangon to Thanlyin to Yangon expand_more
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a day-return sightseeing trip to Thanlyin across the Yangon River on Thanlyin Bridge. Thanlyin was lower Burma’s main trading port in the 18th century and an Old Portuguese settlement. It is home to two splendid pagodas, the Kyaik Khauk Pagoda and Kyaik Hmaw Wun Ye Lai Pagoda, situated on the island.
Firstly, visit Kyaik Khauk Pagoda, the highest point from where you can venerate the Great Shwedagon Pagoda.
Meet local people at the Kyauktan market and then proceed to Kyaik Hmaw Wun Ye Lai Pagoda by boat. You can feed big fishes at the Pagoda.
Return to Yangon to visit Botataung Pagoda, built in AD 997; legend has it that 1000 officers brought two hairs of the Buddha to this hollow pagoda with zigzag corridors and walls completely covered in mosaic mirror glass.
Next, proceed to Nan Thida Jetty and watch the traffic on the Yangon River.

Day 4: Yangon Sightseeing & Departure expand_more
After breakfast at the hotel, sightsee around Sule Pagoda in the downtown area and walk around colonial buildings dating back over 2,000 years and the magnificent reclining Buddha at Chauk-htat-gyi Temple.
After a photo stop at the Karaweik Hall, a barge on Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake, stroll through the Bogyoke Market (closed on Mondays and public holidays) with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores.
Complete your last day in Myanmar with an extended visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda.
And then drive to the airport for departure.
