Day 1: Fez - Ifran - Midelt - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi expand_more
Begin the trip from Riad with your Morocco driver at 8 am.
Drive past Ifran, a winter ski resort in a total un-Moroccan style built by the French in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss village.
Stop by the Cedars forest in Azrou; you will see the monkeys and feed them.
Journey across the Middle Atlas Mountains will be full of amazing natural sights. Most of the day will be spent finding your way through the beautiful forests, springs, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to reach the Sahara Desert.
Have lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks.
Continue towards Merzouga in the road and stop in panoramic views to see a vast oasis of palm trees.
Reach Merzouga in the afternoon around 5 pm, where your Moroccan guide and camels will be waiting for you after rest.
Start a camel trekking across the sandy dunes of the Erg Chebbi. On this camel trek across a desert landscape, you will enjoy the beauty of the sunset on a camel.
After one hour, you will reach the desert camp to spend a night in a Berber tent. At your desert shelter, your camels are hobbled, and mint tea is served.
After dinner, enjoy the ocean of stars over your head.

Day 2: Merzouga - Fez expand_more
In the morning, walk over the dunes to watch the sunrise behind the Algerian border, about 50 km from Merzouga.
Take the camel back to the hotel.
Have lunch and rest on the way to Fez.
Reach Fez in the evening and get dropped off at your accommodation around the evening.
