• Udawalawe is an important habitat for Sri Lankan elephants and is also known as a good bird watching site in Sri Lanka. Bird lovers would get a wonderful opportunity to observe many different varieties of birds. This national park provides a home for many other mammals species such as the rusty-spotted cat, fishing cat. Jeeps specialised for optimised viewing will take gravel paths into the deep forest for the best viewing experience.

• Sinharaja Forest Reserve: This evergreen rain forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is one of the few virgin rain forests left to date. It is a staggering array of flora and fauna that places it among the world's top biodiversity. Over 130 birds species are found here including many of the 33 species endemic to Sri Lanka. There is also an abundant reptile population and myriads of insects species, many yet to be classified. Cycle tour will take you all around Galle, Unesco World Heritage Site: The Galle Fort, also known as the Dutch Fort or the Ramparts of Galle, in the Bay of Galle on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, was built first in 1588 by the Portuguese, then, extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century from 1649 onwards.
