Day 1: Colombo airport - Kandy expand_more
Meet your Sri Lanka driver guide and transfer to Kandy while relaxing after a long flight journey.
Enjoy touring around Kandy and see its beautiful lake, colourful streets, colonial architecture, museums, arts and crafts workshop, oriental marketplace, and a bazaar.
Visit the Gadaladeniya & Embekka Temple.

Day 2: Pinnawala - Peradeniya - Kandy expand_more
Have a good breakfast at the hotel and leave to visit the elephant orphanage in Pinnawela, established in 1975. Today some of these orphans enjoy the fortune of seeing their grandbaby elephants born in the same location.
Visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden at Peradeniya, which is well-known for its collection of over 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees.
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage site, The Temple of the Sacred Tooth.
See how the famous Blue and Star sapphires are mined, cut and polished using traditional methods.
End the day enjoying a culture show in Kandy.

Day 3: Nuwara Eliya expand_more
Have a good breakfast, then depart to Nuwara Eliya, the ‘little England’ for its Victorian-era structures and the mild weather. Its chilled-out weather and eccentric scenes of tea plantations, waterfalls and mountain ranges will be the highlight of your journey.
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya Tea Factory to see how the tea you drink is produced.
Visit the local market and Gregory Lake in the evening.

Day 4: Ella Gap – Udawalawe expand_more
After breakfast, transfer to Udawalawe via Ella.
Visit Ella Gap and Rawana Falls.
Reach the hotel in Udawalawe, and in the evening, prepare yourself for a safari at the Udawalawe National Park. The national park is a hot spot for rare bird conservation, such as the Black-capped Kingfisher and the White Wagtail. The large elephant population is the main attraction, with around 400-500 wild elephants residing in the park.
See water buffalo, wild boar, macaques, langur monkeys and various deer species. You will also rarely spot the Sri Lankan Leopard in the national park.

Day 5: Udawalawe - Colombo - Airport expand_more
After breakfast, transfer to Colombo.
Enjoy a city tour in Colombo in the afternoon. Go for a City Walk which is complimentary on your Package. Colombo has Ayurvedic centres, Dutch Architecture of Pettah, Colonial-era remaining fort, Galle Face Green and Independence Square, Old Parliament House and Beira Lake surroundings.
Transfer to the Katunayake International Airport.
