Welcome by your friendly Sri Lanka driver/guide and transfer to the fishing village of Negombo. It is located near the airport to relax after a long flight journey. 

Take a boat ride into the Muthurajawela Wetlands located in the Negombo Lagoon. 

Explore the coastal town of Negombo with its colonial period architectures through centuries-old Dutch Canals on wooden catamarans that the local fisherman still use.

Transfer to Wilpattu after breakfast. 

Prepare yourself for a safari at the largest park in the country, Wilpattu National Park. It has a distinct and complex network of lakes called Villus and is surrounded by grassy plains and the Wilpattu jungle.

After breakfast, depart to the cultural triangle at the center of the island in the morning.

Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple and the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Go cycling in the Habarana village and experience an authentic village tour. You can also hike to climb the Pirdurangala Rock.

Take the hot air balloon ride (optional), which will unfold a spectacular view as it flies over the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka. Ballooning takes off at dawn, where you can enjoy the glorious sight of sunrise.

After breakfast, head to the famous mountain range of Knuckles in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. You will be staying next three days in a fabulous Tree House or a Bungalow in the hideaway of the Mountain Range.

Set out on a trek with your Sri Lankan trekking guide. Take in the fresh air while hiking through the dense green misty forest, long crystal clear rivers, waterfalls and the fragrance of paddy fields.

Enjoy another day of trekking with your trekking guide in the mountain range.

Take a train from Kandy to Hatton during which you can witness the tea plantations and pickers working the harvest.

Take a walk through the tea estate and relax in the chilled weather and idyllic scenes of tea plantations, waterfalls and mountain ranges. 

Rest and prepare for the nighttime climb up Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak). Visiting thousands of pilgrims from many faiths at the peak is an inspirational experience. The hike up to the mountain will take more than 3 hours.
