Day 1: Colombo to Hikkaduwa expand_more
Pick up from Colombo/Airport, drive down to Galle along the Southern Expressway.
Take a tour of the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a marvel of the 17th century, which was built by the Dutch and preserved to this day.
Travel further down towards the beautiful beach of Unawatuna. Take a dip in the sea, or go on a diving expedition. Have lunch in one of the boutique restaurants along the beach.
Head back towards Hikkaduwa, check-in at a hotel/guest house and hit the party strip along the beach for some of the best raves on the island.

Day 2: Hikkaduwa to Colombo expand_more
Go on a diving expedition or just simply snorkel along the beautiful coral reef of Hikkaduwa.
Visit the Turtle hatchery on your way back towards Colombo. Stop by at Bentota and take a boat trip along the river. Go further into the marshes of Sri Lanka, and afterwards try out the water sports along the river.
Have lunch in Bentota.
Travel along the coastal belt, returning to Colombo and indulge in some shopping for batiks and beachwear.
