  • Day 2: Negombo to Anuradhapura expand_more

    • After breakfast, drive to historical Anuradhapura, the 1st capital of Sri Lanka. The city complex contains a rich collection of archaeological and architectural wonders and ruins, making it one of South Asia’s most evocative places.

    • Afterwards, proceed to Habarana.

  • Day 3: Sigiriya sightseeing expand_more

    • Visit Sigiriya or Lion Rock, an ancient rock fortress located near the town of Dambulla. It is a massive column of nearly 200 metres (660 ft) high. 

    • Enjoy a Bull Cart Ride around the Sigiriya village.

    Overnight stay in Sigiriya/Habarana

  • Day 4: Sigiriya to Kandy expand_more

    • After breakfast, visit Dambulla cave Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. It consists of five spectacular caves, which contain about 150 stunning Buddha statues and paintings.

    • Afterwards, drive to Kandy and visit the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya.

    • In the afternoon, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. The entire temple complex covers a large area and the main shrine, and there are numerous other temples and museums within the complex.

    Overnight stay in Kandy.

  • Day 5: Kandy to Airport expand_more

    • After breakfast, proceed to the airport in time for your flight back home.
