- These eels hide in deep waters during the day and come out to shallow areas at night to feed, with some reaching lengths of up to 2 meters and weighing around 20 kilograms.
- As Cheonjiyeon Falls marks the northern distribution limit of blind cave eels, it has been designated as Natural Monument No. 27.
