- Explore San Galgano, one of the first examples of Gothic architecture in the south of the Apennines.
- Visit the remaining complexes, such as the Scriptorium, the Chapter Hall, the Cloister, and the Sacristy.
- Continue the visit walking towards Montesiepi Hermitage, not far from the abbey.
- Admire the Majesty, by Ambrogio Lorenzetti, author of the Palazzo Pubblico's famous profane cycle in Siena.
- Visit the sword in the stone thrust into a rock by a medieval knight, Galgano Guidotti, to transform the weapon into a cross.
