Pick-up from the meeting point in Catania.
Go for an easy-going trekking activity to Mt. Etna at about 2000 meters of altitude above sea level, to explore ancient and recently formed craters and observe the whole Ionian coastline from above. (Trekking suitable for most fitness levels)
Explore a typical lava cave formed during the past eruptions.
Visit the Valle Del Bove (Valley of the Ox)which is a huge Caldera formed as a result of the collapse of some ancient craters.
End with a visit for a pleasurable interlude at a beekeeping family business and their honey-extracting lab to taste a selection of honey, wines, extra-virgin olive oils and other typical Etna produce.

In case of adverse weather condition, the tour could undergo changes. The excursion will be taken at a lower altitude.
An additional charge will be applied to pick-ups & drop-offs from some locations outside Catania. The additional cost is to be shared by the number of paying passengers picked up from a given location.
