    • The first stop is the Vatican State, where you will see the Vatican Museum (skip the line tickets not included).
    • Head to St. Peter's Square. This historic area is located behind the walled Vatican City, the seat of the Catholic Church. You will see Michelangelo’s incomparable Sistine Chapel, the Basilica of St. Peter, as well as its massive plaza where thousands gather to hear the Pope speak.
    • Afterwards, you will reach the Colosseum, which includes the Imperial Forums, Constantine Arch, and Palatine Hill, probably where the Roman Empire began expanding.
    • Visit the Piazza Cavour, overlooking the Palace of Justice designed by Guglielmo Calderini in 1888.
    • Head to Piazza di Spagna and its Spanish Steps.

Know before you go

  • The Vatican has a very strict dress code: no skirts above the knee, no shorts, no bare shoulders (including tank tops or sleeveless blouses). Shoes must be worn at all times. If you wish to go inside the Basilica and Sistine Chapel, please adhere to the guidelines.

  • Strollers are allowed inside the Museums but not inside the Basilica; because of this, we suggest you do not take the stroller inside as you may become separated from the rest of the group.
