• On your arrival in Tehran, our agents will welcome you at the Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA). 

• Be transferred to our office in Tehran for a short meeting.

• After that, we will drive to Rineh village for about 3 hours, where we will have a homemade meal in a lovely local guest house. This will be followed by village visits in the afternoon and light treks in this area as our first acclimatization activity.

• Have dinner and do an overnight stay at Rineh at a guest house.

• After breakfast, you will be driven to the base camp of the southern trekking route of Mount Damavand in 4WD vehicles (approx. 45 minutes ride).

• Have your second acclimatization activity here, where you will trek up to almost 3800 m ( 2 hours).

• Descend to the base camp for rest, dinner and overnight stay in tents or a room.

• After breakfast and handing over the luggage to the porters, we will leave the base camp at 8 am for a  trek to  Bargah Sevom or camp 3 shelter at4,200 m ( 4 hours).  

• After arriving at Camp 3 and having lunch, rest and proceed for a short acclimatization trek at  4,900 m. This is our last acclimatization plan before the actual summit. This trek will also help in better sleep in camp 3 for the next day's climb to Mount Damavand. 

• After descending to the camp, we will have dinner and overnight stay, either in tents or at a shelter.

• Today, we will leave early in the morning after breakfast at 5:00 am.

• Begin the trek to the summit of Mt. Damavand (approx. 5-6 hours) and enjoy incredible landscapes along the way and also from the top (depending on the weather condition!). You can take a lot of photographs here.

• Descend to the shelter or camp at noon (approx. 2-3 hours) for lunch with a delicious dessert (melon or watermelon). There will be plenty of time in the afternoon in the camp for relaxation after a long trek.

• Today, we will descend to the base camp at 9:00 am (approx. 2 hours).

• Drive to the guest house, where you can pick up your swimming costumes for a short hot spring bath. After such strenuous trekking, it would be delightful.

• Enjoy lamb kebab in a cosy local restaurant and get ready to head back to Tehran.

• In the afternoon, we can also do short sightseeing in Tehran city.

• Explore some of Tehran’s most spectacular sights at Tajrish Bazaar, the Holy Shrine of Imam Zadeh Saleh for eye-catching Islamic architecture, the Sa’d Abad Palace (House of the Royal Family), the Jamshidieh park and also the Milad Tower (the highest tower in Iran) for perfect city views in the evening.

• In between, you will have lunch at a traditional restaurant.

• Depending on your flight time, you will be transferred to the airport for departure.

Note: The itinerary of the last day is flexible in detail. This is our suggestion, and it can be changed according to your preferences and wishes.
