Engage yourself in an adventurous trek expedition to summit Alam-Kuh and Damavand peaks which always seem to be enveloped in a halo of clouds. Pass through the beautiful Rineh city to reach the Bargah village, from where the trek trail begins. Also, go for a cultural excursion to Tehran, Kashan and Isfahan to see attractions such as Sa'd' Abad Palace, Borujerdi House and Chehel Sotoun Palace.

Day 1- Arrival at Tehran expand_more
Connect with your tour guide at Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA) and transfer to the hotel.
Then you will have a short sightseeing in the city.

Day 2- Kelardasht - Roodbarak Village - Vandarbon Mountain Camp expand_more
After having breakfast at the hotel, drive to “Kelardasht” (approx. 4-5 hours) via “Chaloos” Road (one of the most eye-catching roads to the North of Iran).
Have lunch at a local restaurant, and drive to “Roodabarak” Village.
Transfer to the Federation Mountain Camp (equipped with rooms, beds, showers and a restaurant) in “Vandarbon” Village at 2200m by 4WD vehicles.
Have dinner and stay overnight at Vandarbon in the camp.

Day 3- Hesarchal Camp expand_more
Have breakfast in the camp early at 6:00 am.
Then transfer to Tang-e Galu at 2800m by 4WD vehicles around 7:00 am for about 45 minutes.
Start trekking to the Alamkuh southern base camp named Hesarchal at 3750m (approx. 2 hours).
Set up our tents beside a narrow river on a green land (a replica of paradise on earth).
After having lunch and some rest at the base camp we will have a short acclimatization trek to the summit of Mount “Lashgarak” (4250m) (approximately 2 hours) enjoying the beautiful landscape including 4000m peaks around Alamkuh and some seasonal lakes.
Descend back to the base camp, and have dinner.
Overnight at the base camp in the tents.

Day 4- Basecamp - Mount Alamkuh - Basecamp expand_more
After having breakfast early at 5:00 am, start trekking to the summit of Mount Alamkuh around 6:00 am (approximately 4-5 hours).
On reaching the summit, see the “Alamchal” Glacier and beautiful peaks located at the north face.
On the way back, trek to the summit of Mount “Marjikosh” (4550m) as an easy extra summit, and it would be much easier descending to the base camp from this summit in comparison with the regular route.
Have a watery soup, melons or watermelons and some tea or coffee.
Overnight at the base camp in the tents.

Day 5- Basecamp - Caspian Sea - MahmoodAbad expand_more
After having breakfast, leave the base camp to go downstream at 9:00 am.
Return to the Roodbarak Village, have lunch at a local restaurant, and drive to the coastal city of “MahmoudAbad” next to the Caspian Sea beach at 14:00 (approx. 3 hours).
Have some fun and dinner at the beach.
Overnight at MahmoodAbad at a hotel.

Day 6- Rineh Mountain Village expand_more
After having breakfast at the hotel, at 9:00 am, drive to the local traditional Bazaar of the city full of handicrafts, sweets, pickles, spices, tea, rice, fish, etc.
Then, proceed to “Rineh” mountain village next to Mt. Damavand via “Haraz” road (approx. 3-4 hours).
Have a homemade lunch in a local guesthouse which is equipped with sleeping rooms, a hall, showers, a kitchen and a cosy yard.
In the afternoon, visit the village, then have some fun before dinner.
Overnight at Rineh in the guest house.

Day 7- Camp 3- Bargah-e Sevom - Camp 3 expand_more
Today, leave the guest house at 7:00 am and drive to the base camp of the southern route of Mt. Damavand named “Goosfandsara” (meaning the sheep pasture) or the mosque at 3100m with 4WD cars for approx. 45 minutes.
Hand the luggage to the porters and trek to the shelter at 4200m named “Bargah-e Sevom” (approx. 4 hours).
Have lunch in the shelter, rest for a while, and then go for a short acclimatization trek up to 4900m.
Descend to the shelter to eat dinner.
Overnight stay in the shelter.

Day 8- Camp 3 - Mount Damavand - Rineh expand_more
After having breakfast at 5:00 am, start trekking to the summit (approx. 5-6 hours) and enjoy the incredible landscape from the top.
After taking many photographs, descend to the shelter at 12:00 pm (approx. 2-3 hours).
Have a delicious lunch with some melon or watermelon and descend to the base camp at 5:00 pm (approx. 2 hours).
Drive to the guest house and pick up our swimming costumes to enjoy an hour in the hot spring.
Then, taste lamb kebab in a cosy local restaurant, and head back to the guest house for an overnight stay.

Day 9- Rineh - Tehran expand_more
This is a reserve day for the summit in case of any problem like bad weather conditions, and also in case we couldn’t descend back to the village after the summit.
Then, drive to Tehran, where you will enjoy your free time.

Day 10- Tehran expand_more
After having breakfast, leave the hotel and drive to the northern part of the city at 9:00 am.
Go to “Sa’dAbad Palace” (the royal family heritage), the holy shrine of “Imamzadeh Saleh” and “Tajrish Bazaar“.
Have lunch in a cosy restaurant next to the river in the “Darakeh” neighbourhood.
Proceed to “Milad Tower” (the highest tower in Iran with a 360-degree view of the city), along with a short visit to the historical buildings of the city.
Next, see “Azadi Tower” (the symbol of the city), and have dinner.

Day 11- Tehran - Kashan expand_more
After having breakfast, drive to Kashan for about 3 hours.
Visit the Fin Garden and the traditional Hammam inside it.
Explore great historical houses in Kashan like Borujerdi House, Tabatabaei House and Ameri House, which are among some of the best Islamic architecture in the city.
Have lunch in a restaurant, see Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse and Agha Bozorg mosque, go to the oldest ziggurat in the world dates back to 7000 years ago, in Sialk hills, and have dinner at a restaurant.

Day 12- Kashan - Isfahan expand_more
After breakfast, leave Kashan and head to Isfahan.
Start a full-day city tour of Isfahan’s most fascinating sites, including Imam Square (UNESCO heritage), Ali Qapu Palace and Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Chehel Sotoun Palace (UNESCO heritage), Jameh Mosque and also the lovely Bazaar of Isfahan, full of handicrafts.
