• Meet the guide, who will pick you up from Juanda airport.
• Drive 3 hours to Malang, depending on your flight arrival. We will stop at Singosari Temple and then to Malang for an overnight in the Poncokusumo area. (If you have free time, a possible visit to the waterfall.)

Overnight at a guest house.

(Note: Also possible that we stop at Blimbing Sari Airport for a flight to Jakarta or Surabaya.)

• Have breakfast at about 09.00 am, and use a 4WD jeep to Mt Bromo, crossing the sand of the sea and the Teletubbies hill.
• Continue to Mt Bromo Crater for a hike up to see Mt Bromo. It is a concrete well-marking step to the edges of a great crater. You can see the ocean beach and the Hindu temple held by Tengger Tribe from Bromo.
• Check in at the hotel in the afternoon near Cemoro Lawang Village at Cemara Indah Hotel/Kafe Lava or Similiar Hotel.

Meal: B

• Go to see the spectacular sunrise early morning by walking about 1 km from the hotel at Seruni Point. (Note: if you don't like to walk, we can also take a jeep to Mt Pananjakan to see the sunrise.)
• Return to the hotel after watching the sunrise for breakfast.
• Drive to Bondowoso. Driving to Bondowoso will take about 5-6 hours.

Overnight at Ijen View Hotel Bondowoso or similiar.

Meal: B

• Drive a short way before sunrise and start the trail that leads up to the beautiful active crater of Kawah Ijen volcano (about 1-2 hr hiking with a distance of 3 km hike).
• Arrive at RIM 2400m, and explore the Kawah Ijen with its famous blue acid lake (the most acid in the world!) and the hot, partly liquid sulphur deposits. The fumaroles are so hot that sulphur comes out as green vapour. 
• Have plenty of observation time and leave the Ijen Plateau to transfer to Surabaya Airport (it will take 6-7 hours) or transfer to Ketapang Harbour to go to Bali. 
• The trip will finish at Ketapang Harbour/Surabaya.
