Join this 2-day trek and marvel at the scenic views of Mount Rinjani along with the picturesque Segara Anak crater lake. Mount Rinjani is an active volcano on the island, and climbing Rinjani is the main attraction on Lombok Island. In addition to the trek, you will also get to visit the Famose waterfalls and the grassy meadows of the Senaru Crater rim.

Day 1: Arrival and sightseeing in Senaru and Trek to Mount Rinjan expand_more
- Get picked up from the agreed-upon location at 5:30 AM and drive to Senaru.
- Check into your hotel in Senaru and rest for a while.
- Visit Famose waterfalls or Sendang Gile waterfalls and Tiu Kelep.
- Drive for 2 hours from Senggigi from the main trekking point at Senaru village.
- Complete registrations at Rinjani Trek Centre and meet with your mountain guide and porter to start the trek.
- Enjoy lunch, served en route at Montong Satas shelter (1,500 m).
- Walk up another 2 hours to Mondokon Lolak (2,000 m), where you can rest for some time and continue on for another couple of hours through grassy meadows to Plawangan 1 Senaru/ Senaru Crater rim at 2,641 m at approx 5 pm.
- Enjoy the views at lake Segara Anak, the summit of Mount Rinjani, and Crater Gunung Baru Jari (2,351 m), an active volcano.
- Set up tents near the Crater rim area followed by rest and dinner at the campsite.

Day 2: Senaru Crater Rim & Return expand_more
- Marvel at the morning view of Senaru Crater rim, followed by breakfast and a descent down the trail back to Senaru village through grasslands and tropical forest areas.
Enjoy lunch in the nearby tropical rainforest area.
Walk for about five hours from the Crater Rim area and the trek will end at Rinjani Trek Centre, Senaru village.
Transfer back to the place of accommodation by car.
Have a farewell drink with our team followed by transfer to Senggigi or airport or any other tourist attraction on Lombok Island.

Know before you go
- Pick up from airport, Lembar Harbour, Bangsal Harbour- Teluk Nare, Teluk Kodek, Senggigi area, Mataram or from Kuta in south of Lombok island at 5.30 am.
- If you reach early, you can also visit the Senaru village by mid-afternoon, around 3.30 pm. Or else, it will just be the waterfalls.
- The luggage that you bring along with you can be kept at our office during the trek. Bring only what you need on the mountain, including some cash for tips for the guide and porter. This gentle trek is good for beginners, or families with children (minimum 10 years old).
- The items that you bring on the trek, need to be packed in a small backpack, weighing not more than 4 or 5 kg.
