  • Propylaia, the monumental entrance to the Acropolis, was built in 437–432 BCE, following designs by the architect Mnesikles to replace the earlier gateway (the Archaic Propylon).

  • Temple of Athena Nike is believed to be built by the architect Kallikrates.
