Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location and begin your sightseeing adventure north of the island at the scenic village of Oia: one of Santorini’s most visually striking locations. The village has long inspired artists with its beauty and sits overlooking the island’s caldera. (duration: 1 hour 30 minutes)
Make a short stop in Firostefani to see the famous Blue Dome Church, the subject of many Santorini postcards. (duration: 30 minutes)
Head south to admire the Black Beach. Enjoy an optional lunch at a seaside restaurant, such as fresh seafood with a Greek salad, on the beach. (duration: 1 hour 30 minutes)
Move to Profitis Ilias, which is the highest hill in Santorini. From its top (567 m) enjoy the panoramic view of the Aegean Sea with your Santorini tour guide. You can visit the Monastery of Profitis Ilias and a Greek Orthodox chapel there. Listen to the sounds of Byzantine music and get a taste of their hand-made products. (Duration: 30 minutes)
End your tour with an indulgent stop at a local winery. Santorini has produced its own wine since ancient times, and sampling its varietals is the perfect way to get a taste of the island’s history. (duration: 1 hour)
