Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location and leave Nairobi early in the morning.
Drive to the Great Rift Valley floor, where one of the dormant volcanic mountains in this region lies, magnificently retaining the conical shape of almost all volcanoes with a splendid crater.
After the clearance at the park gate, start the hike up the mountain, which takes an hour and a half to the top and then follow a circuit that takes you about three hours to the peak.
Have lunch. ( Lunch on the mountain is on request, otherwise, take hot lunch on the way back to Nairobi)
Descend to the gate for a transfer back to Nairobi, arriving late afternoon.
