  • Day 1: Journey to the amazon Jungle lodge expand_more
    • Drive to the Ceasa Port and board a boat to see the "Meeting of the Waters" – the two rivers which do not mix. After a brief explanation of this phenomenon, continue to the jungle lodge.
    • In the afternoon, start your Amazon tour by setting out on a boat ride across the wide Amazon landscape. You can spot various animals, such as sloths, monkeys, birds and dolphins, and plants of the Amazon. You can also swim in the river if you wish, but only in recommended spots. We can also stop at the local jungle bar if you wish to do so.
    • In the evening, you can go on an optional excursion for caiman-spotting where we will go out by boat under the starlight sky to observe the nightlife of the jungle.
  • Day 2: Take a jungle hike expand_more
    • Set out for a jungle hike and learn about jungle survival techniques, finding edible items in the jungle, making animal traps, and which plants to use for medicinal purposes. It is recommended to avoid dark clothing as it attracts mosquitoes and use insect repellent. 
    • In the jungle, we will make a fire to roast fish that we will catch for dinner around a fire, along with jungle Caipirinha.
    • Take a boat in the afternoon to do piranha fishing which you can for lunch on the following day.
  • Day 3: Visit a Local Family expand_more
    • Visit a local family to learn about the lives of local people in the Amazon and buy locally made souvenirs. You will see the process of making Farinha, and you can also try some typical Amazonian fruits, such as cupuaçu, acai, and tapereba, from their own plantation. Spend another night in the jungle in a shelter. 
    • In the afternoon, head deeper into the jungle to make a fire to roast a chicken/ fish or eggs for dinner and sleep in hammocks.
  • Day 4: Enjoy canoeing and paddling expand_more
    • Return to the lodge after an early tour and then learn about the process of making rubber, responsible for Manaus’ initial fame in the early 20th century. 
    • In the afternoon, we can go canoe paddling through the flooded jungle, and you can try spear-fishing by boat.
  • Day 5: Engage in activities and return to Manaus expand_more
    • You can choose your preferred activity, including swimming with the dolphins, visiting an indigenous tribe or an ecological park.
    • Set off for the return journey to Manaus in the afternoon. End of tour.
