    • Get a pick-up from your city hotel or meet at the Melbourne Town Hall. Take a moment to meet your friendly guide, a local expert who will give a short description of the tour. 

    • Start to mount as we leave Melbourne’s outskirts, passing through the bush-laden suburbs of the northeast.

    • Make your first stop at the world-famous Healesville Sanctuary, one of Australia’s most recognized and acclaimed wildlife sanctuaries. 

    • Spot more than 200 species of Australian wildlife in a distinctly Australian setting. 

    • Experience close-up encounters with some of Australia’s most unique and captivating wildlife in their natural habitat, including koalas, kangaroos, wombats, emus, dingoes, birds of prey, and platypus.

    • Relish lunch at Yering Station’s stunning Wine Bar Restaurant, the perfect lunch venue. With its world-class views and cuisine, you’ll enjoy an a la carte main course meal.

    • Visit the original winery (circa 1859) that features local artworks. It produces as well as reserves delicious wines to taste.

    • Make a final stop for the day at the De Bortoli Winery at Dixons Creek.  

    • Experience with a degustation of superbly flavoured cheeses that compliment the sparkling, table, and dessert wines.

    • Enjoy the ride back to base as we pass through Steels Creek and the Christmas Hills for superb valley views, and maybe you can spot occasional kangaroos at the end of your Yarra Valley wine and food tour.
