Description

Head southeast from the capital of Queensland to an abundance of wildlife, white sand beaches, majestic headlands, freshwater lakes, and so much more. Look out for the sea creatures while you marvel at the breathtaking views of the sea. Sit by the beach to relish some barbequed sausages in Stradbroke Island.

    • Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location to begin your tour. 

    • Drive to the Bayside suburb of Cleveland for your trip across Moreton Bay to Dunwich.

    • Arrive at Dunwich, travel on a bush track into Brown Lake for swimming, photographs and commentary.

    • Spend your morning at Brown Lake (Ti tree medicine is in this freshwater lake).

    • Drive through the Blue Lake National Park to Main Beach (32 km of white sand).

    • Stop at the beach for photos and shell collecting.

    • Head to Point Lookout’s North Gorge where you can hope to see Dolphins, Turtles and Manta Ray. From June to November, spot the majestic Humpback Whales from this stunning vantage point.

    • Move to Flinders Beach for the famous "Aussie" BBQ on the beach for lunch (sausages, green salad and apricots, rice, beetroot, and a fruit drink).

    • Before lunch, you can take more photos, swim, enjoy beach games or just simply relax.

    • After the BBQ lunch, drive to Amity Point where you meet the friendly koalas.

    • Drive back to Dunwich and return to Cleveland at 2:50 pm.

    • After arriving in Cleveland, make your way back home to your hotel at 4.15 pm.
