  • Day 1: Yerevan expand_more
    • Arrive in Yerevan and meet your local tour guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

    • Visit the temple of Surb Sargis, the memorial of the victims of the 1915 genocide – Tsitsernakaberd, the memorial Mother Armenia.

    • Do a city tour in Yerevan and start at the Republic Square, Mashtots Avenue, Baghramian Ave., Presidential Palace, the Parliament, University, monuments to Vardan Mamikonian, David of Sasun, the Square of France, the Square of Freedom.

    • Take a walk through the night in Yerevan and spend time at the Republic Square watching the fantastic program of singing fountains.

  • Day 2: Pearl of Armenia expand_more
    • Have your breakfast and leave for an excursion to Lake Sevan. The lake is called "the Pearl of Armenia". It is of great beauty and is located 2,000 meters above sea level and is one of the largest mountain lakes in the world.

    • Visit Astvatzatzin monastery on the Sevan peninsula.

    • Enjoy dinner in the restaurant from the products of Sevan.

    • Rest at the lake.

    • Go on a tour to Tsaxkadzor- the beautiful ski resort of Armenia, famous for its mountain forests and the cable cars.

    • Marvel at the monastery Kecharis founded in XI-XIII centuries and the Museum of Orbeli brothers.

    Stay overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.

  • Day 3: Echmiadzin expand_more
    • Enjoy your breakfast and take a tour around the city of Echmiadzin, the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

    • Visit the Echmiadzin Cathedral of IV BC, which is included in the UNESCO list of international heritages of the world monuments and the Church of St. Hripsimeh.

    • Stop at the ruins of ancient Zvartnots temple.

    • Continue to Matenadaran, the repository of ancient books and rare manuscripts, Cascade Complex with the museum "Cafesjian Center of Arts."

    Overnight at the hotel. 

  • Day 4: Areni Village expand_more
    • Have your breakfast and then leave for a pilgrimage to the monastery of Khor Virap, where St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned for spreading Christianity.

    • Visit a wine plant in Areni village for wine degustation.

    • Continue the tour towards Noravank Abbey (XIII-XIV centuries) surrounded by fancy red rocks.

    • Eat lunch in a restaurant on the bank of the river.

    • Return to Yerevan.

    Spend the night at the hotel.

  • Day 5: Garni Village expand_more
    • Rise up early for breakfast and then check out of your hotel.

    • Take a trip to the village of Garni to see a pagan church and the fortress of Garni, built in the 1st century.

    • Savour a national dinner in the peasant house in the village of Garni: Lavash bread, fruit vodka (mulberry, apricot).

    • Go to the cave monastery Geghard of XIII-XIV centuries. The holy Spear has been kept there for centuries in the church that was used to pierce the body of Christ on the cross (Geghard means Spear). Now the Holy Spear is stored in Echmiadzin Museum.

    • Visit the museum of world-known film director Sergei Parajanov in Yerevan. It consists of more than 250 works: paintings, photographs, collages made by Parajanov.

    • Transfer to the airport for departure.
