Head to the capital of Armenia, Yerevan, filled with a vibrant culture that greatly reflects on the day-to-day lives of its inhabitants. Explore Khor Virap, an Armenian monastery located in the Ararat plain in Armenia, near the closed border with Turkey. Visit the Noravank Monastery, a 13th-century Armenian monastery located in a narrow gorge made by the Amaghu River near Yeghegnadzor, Armenia. Enjoy the world's longest cable car ride to the beautiful Tatev Monastery, a 9th-century Armenian Apostolic monastery located on a large basalt plateau near the Tatev village, Syunik Province in southeastern Armenia. End the tour with some exquisite wine tasting at the Areni Winery.
