Athens and Eleusis Tour expand_more
- Meet the professional driver and head on to start the tour. Start towards the Acropolis Hill to see Propylaea, Parthenon, Erechtheion and the Temple of Athena Nike.
- Continue forward to see the Theater of Dionysus and Herod Atticus Odeon. Sit at the stairs and experience how watching in this ancient theatre must have felt like.
- See the Temple of Olympian Zeus, dedicated to the Gods of Olympian God.
- Move to the Panathenaic Stadium, the site of the first ancient Olympic games, and Mount Lycabettus, which will give you panoramic views of Athens city.
- Learn about the Hellenic Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Plateia Syntagmatos and th Athenian Trilogy (Academy of Athens – University of Athens – National Library of Greece) as you visit these sites.
- Stop to check out the Holy Monastery of Daphni. It's a great example of Byzantine architecture.
- Later, we will head to the municipality of Eleusis, where we will see its archaeological ruins and visit its museum.
