  • Day-2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park expand_more

    Have your breakfast early in the morning, and after that, head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, stopping at the equator for photos and experiments. Later on, have lunch at the Igongo cultural site and then continue, arriving in Bwindi later in the evening. Then dinner and overnight at your lodge.

  • Day-3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park expand_more

    Have breakfast in the morning and then head to Buhoma Park headquarters for your briefing before you continue with your Uganda gorilla trekking safari to meet the incredible giants. Depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle, this activity can take 3 hours to a full day. 

    After the track, you will then return to the lodge for lunch, preparing for a community walk in the evening or an optional visit to the Batwa people. These are among the few remaining shortest people in the world. They will entertain you with dances and songs. Later on, you will return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

  • Day-4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park expand_more

    Have breakfast, and after, head to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha sector. You will get a chance to see the tree-climbing lions, then follow to the Mweya peninsula and enjoy a game drive. You will also get a chance to see the many herds of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, hippos, water hogs, waterbucks and many bird species. 

    Have your lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge, and later in the afternoon, you will have a game drive in the park while you follow the kasenyi track, which is the best game viewing site in the park. You will also find a large number of bird species in the park, including the brown snake eagle, bateleur, grey-kestrel, white and abdims stork, martial eagle, African harrier-hawk, saddle-billed stork, and many more.

  • Day-5: Queen Elizabeth National Park expand_more

    Have your breakfast, and after, you will head to Lake Munyanyange north of Katwe for more wildlife species. This place is also well known for its concentration of mammals and many bird species. This is an added advantage for the bird watchers. Some of the birds found here include the little stint, curlew sandpiper, terek sandpiper, greenshank, gull-billed terns, red-necked phalarope, the greater and lesser flamingoes, wintering red-throated pipits and northern wheatears.

    After lunch, we shall go for a boat cruise at Kazinga Channel. This channel stretches between Lake Edward and Lake George. The animal species and the birds here cannot be compared with any other in other parks. Immediately after your boat cruise, you will enjoy swimming in Mweya’s significant swimming pool. Then dinner and overnight at the lodge.

  • Day-6: Full Day Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park expand_more

    Have breakfast and then later proceed for a game drive, expecting to view many early risers and predators, including leopards, jackals, foxes, hyenas, aardwolf, African wild cats, Bush babies, Uganda Kobs, reedbuck, Giant forest hogs, defassa waterbuck, warthog, elephants, hippos and many more.

    You will also have your lunch and, after, drive to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee tracking, where you will enjoy the primates. Depending on the time, you can also visit the bat cave deep in the rainforest or visit the Katwe salt mining site. Then, finally, dinner and overnight at the lodge.

  • Day-7: Transfer to Kibale National Park expand_more

    Have breakfast and then transfer to Kibale National Park via Crater Lake Area, Kasanga Forest. You will have lunch at the lodge and, in the afternoon, visit the community, where you will get a chance to interact with the Batooro people. You will also visit the tea plantation and the tea factory. Then dinner and overnight will be at your lodge.

  • Day-8: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park expand_more

    Breakfast early in the morning, and after that, we proceed to Kanyanchu headquarters for your briefing and start chimpanzee tracking at about 8:00 a.m. You will also view many primates like chimps, red-tailed monkeys, L’hoest Monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, colobus monkeys, white butterflies, different insects and forest birds. Then, you will return to the lodge for your lunch and, after that, proceed to Bigodi Swamp for birding. This wetland lies along the fort portal to Kamwenge road, 5 km southeast of the Kanyanchu tourist center.

    The community-based project also offers access to the Magombe Swamp, which is a very interesting area for the papyrus and swamp forest. While there, you will view many birds, including the white-winged warbler, papyrus gonolek, blue-breasted kingfisher, papyrus canary, black-faced rufous warbler blue-headed coucal, the spectacular yellow-billed barbet, white-spotted flufftail and grey-capped warbler, scaly-throated honeyguide, blue-shouldered and snowy-headed robin-cats. Finally, you will have an overnight at the lodge.

  • Day-9: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park expand_more

    Have breakfast and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. This will be a long day drive through the homesteads where you will make a stopover at Albertine escarpments. The view of Lake Albert from the floor of the Rift Valley is also fascinating. Then, you will board the ferry crossing the river Nile to the northern bank. Finally, have dinner and an overnight at the lodge.

    Have your breakfast in the morning, and you will undertake a morning game drive to the northern sector of the park.
