• Arrive at Tbilisi international airport.

• Transfer to your hotel in Tbilisi.

Overnight in hotel

• Take a 6-hour long off-road ride from Tbilisi to the Tusheti region. Cross the highest drivable mountain Caucasus through the Abano pass.

• Arrive at the Omalo village. Explore the area around upper and lower Omalo, with beautiful views of the Chagma valley.

• Visit the Keselo fortress and the Ethnographical Museum of Tusheti.

Overnight stay in Omalo at a guesthouse.

• Have breakfast at the guesthouse.

• Start the day's activities at 8:00 am. Drive to Dartlo, explore the mountain village and start trekking along the Alazani River in the direction of Girevi.

• Pass through the medieval villages of Chesho and Parsm.

• Reach Girevi and fill up registration forms for trekking in the border area. 

• Camp near the village of Girevi.

• Start your trek 7-hour trek at 8:00 am. Continue along Hatsunta-Alazani Gorge, passing by the abandoned Chontio village – the last inhabited village that you will see on your way.

• Proceed towards the Kvakhidi campsite. The path goes up through beautiful alpine meadows along the river, with panoramic views and picturesque landscapes. You will have to undergo checking by the border guards twice here. 

Overnight stay in tents.

• Begin trekking at 8:00 am. The 15 km long trail goes up by the Kvakhidisitskali river and is the most demanding part of the trek. Cross the trail twice- the first time on a small footbridge, the second time by fording it. 

• After the second crossing, continue towards the valley to the right and start your ascent to Atsunta Pass.

• From the top of the Great Atsunta Pass Of Georgia, enjoy amazing views of the surrounding summits and canyons of Khevsureti province.

• Descend to the campsite and stay overnight in tents.

• Commence your 8- hour adventure early in the morning at 7 am.

• Descend by the narrow path into the valley of Khonistskali river and then continue walking towards Mutso fortress.

• Explore the fortress and continue down the dirt road towards Anatori – “House of the Dead”. Head to Shatili fortress, which is located only 30 minutes away.

• Have breakfast In the morning, after breakfast, 

• Go for sightseeing around the Shatili complex and then continue with

• Drive to Tbilisi in the afternoon. See the beautiful Datvis Jvari Pass on the way and then follow the Aragvi Gorge to join with the Georgian Military Highway.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Tbilisi.

• After breakfast at the hotel, get transferred to the Tbilisi Airport for departure.
