    • Nowadays, it is a historical and architectural museum reserve. There are streets, squares, a sewer system, four gates, a secret tunnel leading to the Mtkvari River, a fence, and so on. It is currently considered an open-air museum.
    • It was first mentioned in written sources in the 7th century. In Uplistsikhe and its surroundings, archaeological and architectural monuments have been preserved, the oldest of which dates back to the Early Bronze Age and belongs to the Mtkvari-Araks culture.
