- Meet your Scottish tour guide at Portree for pick-up and transfer to Inner Hebrides.
Travel north to your first stop, The Kilt Rock. This is a famous sea cliff in north east Trotternish, said to resemble a kilt, with vertical ballast columns to form the pleats and intruded sills of dolerite forming the pattern.
Take a short drive to Duntulm Castle ruins, for a photo stop. This was the seat of the clan MacDonald in the 17th century.
Heading southwest, visit a small farm steading to experience the making of sheepskins.
Continue to Dunvegan Castle, once the seat of the chiefs of the clan MacLeod first built in the 13th century and developed over the centuries.
Enjoy a delicious lunch.
If time allows, take a short detour to Neist Point, for a panoramic photo stop before heading back.
