2.5-Hour Bordeaux Food Tour
Description
This tour can be privatized and adjusted to your needs and wants. Our focus is learning the food and cuisine of southwest France. We will taste Bordeaux wines with local foods while learning the city's history and region.

- Local pastries and their spices, Bordeaux was a major port town for thousands of years
- Wines of Bordeaux, small plates and wines from the area to discuss the different wines and their profiles
- Plenty of history; we walk past most of the historical highlights, and you’ll leave with a map to explore more on your own!

Market tour with a chef expand_more
10 am: We meet at the market and spend an hour tasting different products like local oysters, charcuterie, cheese and wines.
11 am: We have local pastries and a seated break with restroom / see the Grosse Cloche and talk about medieval history.
11:30: We go to a spice shop (closed Sunday) and speak about the spices in French history.
Walk to the river and discuss the importance of this port city and the river.
12 pm: We go to a wine bar and take small plates and wine to discuss the regional wines and cuisine.
