  • Day 1: Nairobi - Tsavo East National Park expand_more
    • Arrive at JKI Airport (NBO), where we will meet for the tour briefing as we finalize all underlying issues; also, a time to get clarification of any issue that may have been clearly understood so we can proceed as one team, with everyone involved and fully aware what we are up to.
    • Settle all outstanding issues, and we will depart past midnight for a 3 to 4-hour journey to Voi Town. 
    • Drive along the Mombasa - Nairobi Highway for 320 km with stopovers for coffee along the busy highway. 
    • Arrive at Voi town and proceed for a short drive to the park to Tsavo East Park gate (the largest park in Kenya, which covers an area of 13,747 km2), where we would have access to the Tsavo East Park gate at dawn. 
    • Do an early check-in, and we will catch up on some sleep.
    • Wake up for a full breakfast at 0900 hrs. Alternatively, depending on you, after a long flight and a long drive, you will be advised if we can embark on a 6 am morning game drive, an ideal moment for introductory game watching when the animals are active and it is easy to spot the big game hunting.
    • Return to the lodge for a full breakfast and to have the much-needed sleep and rest from fatigue after a long hours' drive and flight. You will have time to have uninterrupted sleep and wake up in time for lunch at 13:30hrs. 
    • Embark after some rest for an extensive exploration of Tsavo East National Park, with its abundant wildlife and natural scenery, even to the Aruba Dam (a water hole where animals come to drink water). Physical attractions include Tsavo River, Yatta Plateau, 300 km2, Mudanda Rock, Lugard Falls, Voi seasonal River and Aruba Dam. You also have a chance to see animals like red elephants, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, and giraffes, among others.
    • Proceed with the game drive till 6.30 pm, when you'll be back at the lodge for dinner and overnight with an opportunity to watch animals in the comfort of your cosy room and at restaurants or over a campfire to sit back, dine and unwind as you take stock of the days moments.
    • Dinner and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge Or Voi Wildlife Lodge.

  • Day 2: Tsavo East - Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary expand_more

    At Taita Hills, Game Lodge includes Big Cats, the Big Five (buffalo, lion, elephant, leopard and rhino) and just about everything in between. 

    • Wake up for an early breakfast and drive to Tsavo East National Park. The park covers approximately 40 per cent of Kenya's national parks. Its dramatic view of the Mudanda Rock and Yatta Plateau, the world's most significant lava flow, makes it a popular destination. Tsavo and Athi River unite to form the remarkably Lugard's Falls. The park is home to the Red Elephant and other wildlife and birdlife.

    • Have game en route as we exit through Buchuma Gate for a short drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.

    • Arrive in time for lunch and check in at Taita Hills Game Lodge, where you will reside for the least of your stay in this magnificent wildlife haven. This sanctuary forms a critical wildlife corridor between the two major national parks, Tsavo East and Tsavo West, and it's a major migration route for the more than 12000 elephants that live in the two national parks. The parks form one of the largest conservation areas on Earth and are home to the Big Five, namely Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino, and plenty of other plain games.

    • Eat lunch and rest in this Game Lodge, a Kenya flagship lodge.

    • Embark on an introductory game drive around the conservancy, exploring extensively as you familiarize yourself with the surroundings. The game search will take you till sun-downer, when you will drive back to dine and unwind, having settled in this sanctuary and the lodge and becoming part of it as you enjoy dinner and a silent night's sleep.

  • Day 3: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary expand_more

    This sanctuary is privately owned and located in Taita-Taveta in the south-west region of Kenya. 

    • Eat a hearty breakfast at your lodge, and you will depart for a day-long game searching in the heart of Taita Hills Game Sanctuary with lunch breaks at Taita Hills Game Lodge or its partner, Taita Salt-lick Game Lodge. Also, another magnificent lodge has been built with game viewing in mind - you can see animals in all directions because it offers spectacular open views as you enjoy your lunchtime meal.

    • Continue after lunch to explore the Wildlife Sanctuary on a game drive. Scenic sights include landscape, while wildlife includes Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, cheetah, Masai giraffe, zebra, etc. The sanctuary also has a great diversity of birdlife as it borders Tsavo West National Park. It is majorly savanna with a few areas covered with bushes and thicket. As the name suggests, the sanctuary offers panoramic views of the neighbouring Taita hills, an ideal location for a photographic tour for nature lovers, game drives, and game watching at a close range, offering an up-close and personal touch with nature through guided walks and a visit to a local and authentic tribal village.

    • Proceed for a game drive in the sanctuary after lunch until sunset. During our afternoon game drive, you have a high chance of spotting the lions, cheetahs, baboons, giraffes, herds of elephants, buffalo, and other games that roam wild and free in this park.

    • Return at sundown for dinner and overnight stay at Taita Hills Salt-Lick Game Lodge.

  • Day 4: Taita Hill Wildlife Sanctuary - Tsavo West expand_more
    • Wake up early in the morning and get served with a cup of tea or coffee.
    • Embark on a dawn game drive in search of wild games, with chances to witness lions, cheetahs, and leopards hunting their prey. An extensive game-watching moment that will take the better part of the early hours.
    • Return to the lodge for a full breakfast.
    • Check out from the lodge, and with enroute game watching, exit Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary for neighbouring Tsavo West National Park. Tsavo West lies on the West of the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway, equidistant from Mombasa and Nairobi. The emerald hills, liquid lava flows, palm-fringed rivers, teeming wildlife and sparkling oases set against the unforgettable cloud–shaded African Savannah. Cutting across the vast park or accessing it through Voi or Mtitu Andei Gates will depend on the nature of the road, with enroute game drive.
    • Proceed for an afternoon game viewing till evening.
    • Unwind with dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Lodge Or Ngulia Safari Lodge, where you can watch animals coming at a watering point in the comfort of your room and from the restaurant.
    • Arrive at the lodge at sundown time, permitting. You will have more game drives enroute to the lodge and check in for dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge Or Kilanguni Serena Game Lodge. 
    • Sit back and relax at this magnificent lodge overlooking wildlife watering and salt-lick areas.
  • Day 5: Tsavo West National Park expand_more
    • Get up for early morning breakfast, leave for the bush in search of wild games until 0900 hrs.

    • Return to the lodge for a full breakfast.

    • Prepare for check-out from the lodge.

    • Proceed with your last game drive in Tsavo West on the park's northern section, visiting the Mzima water springs, waters that have filtered underground from the Chyulu Hills gush from below a lava ridge into a series of clear pools. You have an opportunity to view animals underwater through a glass. As you prepare to exit Tsavo West for Amboseli National Park, our tour shall not be complete in Tsavo West without being taken to an elevated point to see Mount Kilimanjaro from a distance. Chyulu hills are seen nearby and other scenic valleys.

    • Begin the journey midday to Amboseli Via Mtitu Andei Park gate or through the Chyulu Hills by the highway; lunch will be served en route or in Amboseli, depending on the time.

    • Arrive in time for dinner, or time permitting; you will have a short game drive and later dinner overnight at your tented camp or lodge.

  • Day 6: Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park expand_more
    • Wake up for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive, returning to the lodge for a full breakfast at 0900hrs.

    • Proceed for more game drive to the west, which will take you to Mzima Springs.

    • Check out of the camp and have a game drive. Here, you will visit the famous Mzima springs. You will go down the tunnel to see hippos, crocodiles and different fish species inside the clear waters.

    • Eat lunch served at your lodge as we prepare for check out after meals for the journey to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its vast tusked elephants and the view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

    • Depart at 1400 hrs, and you will cross dramatic volcanic formations at Shaitani Lava flow. After visiting this picturesque scene of lava formations, emerald hills, liquid lava flows, palm-fringed rivers, teeming wildlife and sparkling oases set against the unforgettable cloud–shaded African Savannah. At the north of the park, water that has filtered underground from the Chyulu Hills gushes from below a lava ridge into a series of clear pools. You have an opportunity to view animals underwater through a glasshouse. The scenic volcanic arena from the ‘Shetani’ Lava flow, Swahili for ‘Devil’, and the Chaimu Crater, Lake Jipe, ridges, volcanic ash cones and rocky outcrops form scenery like no other. Game viewing here is magnificent, with herds of huge tusked elephants, fat pods of hippos, giant crocodiles, teeming herds of plain game, a fantasia of birdlife and some magical flora.

    • Proceed for a game drive through Chyulu Hills, heading to Amboseli National Park, arriving late afternoon.

    • Arrive in Amboseli, where you will have an evening game, time permitting, as you drive en route to the lodge for check-in and lunch.

    • Start the evening game drive at 1600hrs until sundown at 1800hrs. You will also have a chance to visit a traditional Masai village and enjoy their traditional dances in the comfort of your lodge around the camp.

    • Return to the lodge at 6:00 p.m. for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 7: Amboseli National Park expand_more
    • Wake up early for a cup of tea/coffee and snacks in preparation for an early morning game drive.

    • Proceed for morning game drive till 0900 hrs, returning to the camp for breakfast. Amboseli Park has become one of the most visited parks in Kenya for its serenity and the view of the peak of Kilimanjaro during the sunrise and sunset in the evening. To be spotted are the big cats and the herds of the African Elephants.

    • Explore this fantastic Kenya wildlife splendour for the whole day, returning to your camp late in the afternoon at sundown in time for dinner and overnight in the tented camp.

  • Day 8: Amboseli - Mombasa Or Nairobi expand_more
    • Eat an early morning breakfast, then proceed for the morning game drive. This is the best time to view the Mt. Kilimanjaro.

    • Return to the camp for a full breakfast.

    • Check out of the lodge after breakfast and have the final game drive as you leave the park.

    • Arrive in Voi town for the last lunch.

    • Embark on the journey back to Mombasa or Nairobi after lunch, arriving in the evening, full of great impressions.

  • Extension to the Kenya seaside can be combined with this tour, to begin with, or end with a drop off to the beach of your choice to Diani south coast, Mombasa city and its environs, Malindi and Watamu also to up north in Lamu and Mada islands, all these accessible by road, air and railway.

Note: The price as quoted is for a minimum of 2 person sharing. A sole traveller's quote is available on request. 

Regarding private packages, the quotes largely depend on various factors besides the traveller's request, i.e. accommodation facility and traveller's preferences, remoteness of the travel Routes, or some parts of the safari trails where group tours are not a viable option.
