Leave Nairobi at 7:00 am and drive for about 1 hour to the entrance of Mt Longonot via the Great Rift Valley point.
Hike for about 5-6 hours up to the peak, going around the crater rim and descend down to the gate.
Drive back to Nairobi in the evening.

In the summer season, this place is hot and in the winter season, this place sometimes receives rain so please be prepared with the necessary gear.
