Description

Begin your adventure with a hike up the Sagalla Hills, during which you will enjoy a fun picnic lunch surrounded by the surreal view from the hills. Then, the next day set off on a safari adventure through Tsavo or Salt Lick Parks.

  • Day 1: Arrival at Taita Taveta expand_more
    • 5 am: Depart for the Taita hills.
    • 7.30 am: Pit stop enroute for breakfast.
    • 8.30 am: Start the trekking uphill to Sagalla hills. Courier helps provide water bottles and other assistance like asthmatics for pregnant and disabled. Bypass streams help trekkers cool off the climb.
    • 1.15 pm: Arrive at a picnic lunch stop. Enjoy the wonderful breeze at the mountaintop, overlooking Taita hills and Tsavo parks. After lunch, proceed back to the town.
    • 3 - 4.00 pm: Check-in to the hotel and relax leisurely. 
    • 7.00 pm: Dinner is served: Roasted meat, boiled and fried sorts; the vegetarian menu is provided. After dinner, you are free to explore the cultural nightlife in the town.


  • Day 2: Safari & Departure expand_more
    • 6 am: Breakfast 
    • 6.30 am: Depart  for safari in Tsavo or Saltlick Parks.
    • 12.00 am: Sumptuous lunches served.
    • 1.00 pm: Departure for bus travel to Nairobi, or train to Nairobi. Else, drive back to Mombasa with a pit stop enroute.
