Visit the church and the museum at the monastery and see the liturgical items used since the monastery was founded in the 13th century.
Drive to the Portuguese Bridge, located a few hundred meters down the back yard of Ethio-German Restaurant, over Jemma River, one of the major tributaries of the Blue Nile River.
Walk down to the bridge and see a Gelada Baboon troop, endemic baboons of Ethiopia.
