Pick up from the hotel by the Ethiopian tour guide and drive on Addis Ababa-Bahir Dar Road in the direction of Debre Libanos Monastery.
Visit the church and the museum at the monastery and see the collection of liturgical items used since St. Tekle Haimanot founded the monastery in the 13th century.
Drive to the Portuguese Bridge, located a few hundred meters down the back yard of Ethio-German Restaurant, over Jemma River, one of the major tributaries of the Blue Nile River.
Walk down to the bridge and see a Gelada Baboon troop, endemic baboons of Ethiopia.
