  • Day 01: Fly to Semera expand_more
    • Drive from Semera to Amedela, passing through dunes.
    • In the evening, visit Lake Asale, a salty lake where you can enjoy the sunset. This lake is listed as the lowest and hottest place on Earth.

  • Day 02: Journey from Hamedella to Semera expand_more
    • Embark on an excursion to Daloll depression.
    • After breakfast, drive to Dallol to witness the mesmerizing combination of twisted colours. Visit the salt workers and merchants in this hot and active location with an average temperature of 40-50°C.
    • In the afternoon, drive to Erta Ale. Camels will be arranged to transport your luggage and water. Begin the hike to the volcanic hills of Erta Ale, which stand 613 meters above sea level. Witness the spectacular volcanic eruption. At night, camp near the eruption on the crater rim, overlooking the active lava lake.

  • Day 03: Return from Erta Ale to Semera expand_more
    • In the early morning, take another opportunity to see the volcano before breakfast. Then, drive back to Semera, stopping to visit and relax by Lake Afdera, a salt lake.

    End of the tour.
