The most important attraction of this entire tour is the 756-sq-km Awash National Park, which is one of Ethiopia’s most popular parks. The Lower Valley of the Awash is a site where early human remains are said to have been found. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1980. The tour also includes the old city heart of Harar.

Day 1: Arrive at Addis Ababa expand_more
Upon arrival at Bole international airport and met by your representative and transfer to hotel.
After check in to hotel you will have city tour of Addis. Fist go to the National Museum - the home of the famous complete hominid fossil remain of Lucy dates 3.2 million years back
Continue to the Mount Entoto - panoramic view point at the highest peak in Addis with an altitude of 3200 meter above sea level, trinity cathedral - a beautiful church with a baroque style of European architecture unique to both Ethiopia and Africa, Ethnographic museum and Merkato (the largest open air market in Africa).

Day 2: Awash National Park expand_more
After breakfast drive from Addis to Awash National Park through the awe-inspiring crater lakes of Debrezeit.
The next stop will be at Lake Beseka.
Then you will be continuing to Awash National Park.

Day 3: Awash National Park expand_more
Birding in Awash National Park, located in the rift valley. It is enriched with many species of birds and mammals; African orange-bellied parrots, bustards, weavers, European Hoope somber rock-chat, yellow-throated serine, Red-fronted Barbet, pygmy baits, Lesser striped swallow, House martin and Anubis Baboon, Colobus Monkey, Black-backed Jackal, Bat-eared Fox, Egyptian Mongoose, Warthog, Beisa Oryx, Soemmering’s Gazelle, Lesser Kudu, Salt’s Dik-dik, etc.

Day 4: Drive to Harar expand_more
After breakfast drive to the fortified city of Harar. Harar is the Holy City of Ethiopia's Muslim community, is believed to be the fourth-holiest city after Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem.

Day 5: Harar expand_more
- On this day, visit the full day city of Harar. The old City Wall of Harar is the main attraction and symbol of Islamic architecture. Harar has approximately 90 mosques, which form the largest concentration of mosques in the world. Visit Jegol Wall, National and Harari Museums; caves with prehistorical paintings.
- After lunch, visit the House of Ras Mekonnen, Jamia Mosque, Emir Nurs Tomb, Traditional Harari home, and the Hyena Man show at night.

Day 6: Drive to back Addis - Departure expand_more
After breakfast, drive back to Addis.
En-route visit Debre Zeit Lake, one of the Rift Valley lakes and it has many aquatic birds.
Evening you will have a farewell dinner in one of the Ethiopian restaurants for cultural dinner and dances from the different ethnic groups.
Then transfer to the airport to fly back home, where your tour ends.
