You will discover these two cities of Alicante Province: Elche and Orihuela, accompanied by an expert guide. Elche, founded by the Iberians, known as Ilici, currently has about 231,000 inhabitants. It is one of the few cities that has two World Heritage Sites: The Palm garden and The Mystery Play.
Discover the Huerto del Cura: this National Artistic Garden covers an area of 12,000 meters with its spectacular Real Palm Tree called 'Sisi', like the Empress.
We will also visit the Basilica of Saint Mary where the second World Heritage site of this city is held in August: the Mystery Play.
After this visit, we will have time to enjoy Elche´s cuisine, tasting the typical Arroz con costra (rice with meat and egg made with a special casserole in an oven).
