    • Proceed to the Temple of Kom Ombo, located around 35 km from Aswan. This structure is a unique double-temple dedicated to two sets of gods: Sobek and Haroeris, and dates back to the 2nd century B.C.E. The Crocodile Museum nearby houses a few of the three hundred crocodile mummies discovered around the temple.

    • Travel to your hotel in Aswan and rest for the night.

  • Day 2: Sightseeing at Aswan expand_more
    • Start the tour at 8:00 a.m. after breakfast with visits to the Aswan High Dam. Built across the Nile in the 1960s to control flooding and generate hydroelectricity, it remains the world's largest embankment dam.

  • Day 3: Abu Simbel expand_more
    • Get ready at 4 a.m. for a 3-hour drive to the Great Temple of Abu Simbel.
