Day 1: Transfer to Guingopana Pass expand_more
- Leave from the city of Quito at 8:00 am and drive to the south on the Pan-Americana highway for 2 hours.
- Continue driving till Guingopana Pass, situated 3,980 meters above sea level.
- Hike for about 4 hours towards Isinlivi, a small town located 2,960 m above sea level.
- Stay overnight in Hostal Llullu Llama.

Day 2: Trek to Chugchilan expand_more
After breakfast, start trekking for about 5 hours to Chugchilan, another small town situated 3200 m above sea level.
Stay overnight at Hostel Mama Hilda.

Day 3: Visit The lake expand_more
Prepare for a long and hard trek towards Quilotoa crater with a good breakfast.
Hike up the hill for about 6 hours.
Arrive at the Quilotoa lake with your Ecuadorian tour guide.
Visit and explore the artisan market in the town.
Depart for Quito.
