Amphitheatre: Trier had an amphitheatre for gladiatorial contests. It was partly dug inside the slope of the hill of the east of the city during the reign of Antoninus Pius.
Constantine´s Basilica: Also known as The Aula Palatina, a Roman palace basilica, today, it is used as the Church of the Redeemer.
Imperial Bath: A large Roman bath complex.
Viehmarkt-Baths: Ruins of a Roman bath complex.
Igel Monument: A multi-storeyed Roman sandstone column.
The Archaeological Museum's collection stretches from prehistory through the Roman period, the Middle Ages to the Baroque era, with a strong emphasis on the Roman past of Augusta Treverorum, Germany's oldest city.
