60 Minutes or 90 Minutes walk to see the main highlights. Start under the Holstentor City Gate, continue to Old Port and salt warehouses, see 7 church spires, gothic merchant houses, and little alleyway mazes, visit the central market, the historic town hall where members of the Hansa League once met, explore the Marzipan showroom, Nobel prize winner Thomas Mann museum, main pedestrianised shopping streets. End at St. Mary's Church and hear the story of the famous little devil figure. He is extremely photogenic and loves to have his photo taken! The 90 minutes walk continues to St. Catherines convent and church, Lübeck Nobel prize winners' houses, the 13th Century Hospital of the Holy Spirit with its quaint little turrets and beautiful bells orchestra, the Seafarers’ Guild House and the Hanseatic League Museum.
